Lee Pearce: How long will it take to sweep your chimney? It depends on how tall the chimney is, how big the chimney is inside, how dirty the chimney is, what sort of build up there is inside there.
It could be, in a two storey house, as quick as 25-30 minutes. In a bigger house, which is four or five storeys high, it could take a couple of hours.
If we find there’s a nest in the chimney, it could take a lot longer. I’ve been known to take a day to get a nest out of a chimney and obviously – unfortunately, that will cost the customer more money.
